Hey! Thanks for your interest in my background. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a small town where music education was highly valued. My involvement with music began when my family moved to Rocky Mountain House, AB shortly after starting the fourth grade. To help me make friends my parents put me in my elementary school’s choir, and I’ve never strayed from music since! With over 20 years experience from elementary school through university, including private lessons, concert bands, and choirs, I can confidently say that music is an integral part of my life that I hope never to lose. I owe this passion to the great teachers I’ve had over the years, and I want to share that passion with others as much as possible! Flute, voice, and piano are my three main instruments. I also have a background in childcare that has developed my ability to teach young students in a way that is fun and engaging.
